Julian Netzer is a media artist and media designer. In 2020, he completed his master degree in "New Media" at the Berlin University of the Arts.

In his artistic practice he is fascinated by exploring the edges of real and artificial worlds. By creating installations and experiences with emerging technologies, he addresses questions such as: What is computational creativity and what is human creativity? How do we perceive virtual realities in physical spaces? How does artificial intelligence affect our real world?

As a freelancer he works primarily as a developer and designer for real-time 3D applications and interactive art installation. He is currently working as a teaching assistant at the kunsthochschule weißensee.

He lives and works in Berlin.
